Unified Communications Solutions
Connect everyone with secure voice, video, and collaboration

Effective communication is critical to business success. We provide modern platforms that connect employees, customers, and partners through secure, scalable voice, video, and collaboration.

Unified Communications Solutions

What we deliver

Voice is unforgiving. Users tolerate a slow file transfer and immediately notice 150 milliseconds of jitter. That makes call quality primarily a network design problem — traffic prioritisation, sufficient upstream bandwidth and controlled latency — before it is a handset or PBX problem.

We design the voice platform and the network path together: quality-of-service marking, a dedicated voice VLAN, PoE budget across the switch estate, and codec selection matched to available bandwidth.

In the UAE, voice services are regulated. Public voice connectivity is provided through licensed operators, so SIP trunking and external calling are designed around that framework. We scope the platform to work correctly within it rather than around it.

Scope

A typical communications engagement covers:

How we deliver

From site walk to handover.

  1. 01 AssessCall volumes, extension count, contact-centre requirements and current network readiness for real-time traffic.
  2. 02 DesignPlatform topology, voice VLAN and QoS policy, PoE budget, and trunking arranged through licensed operators.
  3. 03 DeployPBX build, extension and hunt-group configuration, handset provisioning, and call-flow build with your team.
  4. 04 Cut overNumber porting coordinated with the operator, parallel running where possible, and post-cutover quality monitoring.

Standards

Built to standards your auditors check.

Why dexline for communications

  • Network designed alongside the platform.

QoS, voice VLAN and PoE are engineered as part of the deployment, which is where most call-quality complaints actually originate.

  • Regulatory path handled.

Trunking and external calling scoped through licensed operators rather than an arrangement that will not survive scrutiny.

  • Call flows built with your team.

Menus, hunt groups and out-of-hours routing configured with the people who answer the phones.

  • Porting coordinated.

Number migration planned with the operator with parallel running where the service allows.

FAQ

Is VoIP legal in the UAE?

Voice services in the UAE are regulated and delivered through licensed telecom operators. On-premise and cloud PBX platforms are widely used by businesses, with external voice connectivity provided via licensed operator services rather than arbitrary internet-based providers. We design deployments to operate within that framework, and recommend confirming current requirements for your specific setup, as regulations are periodically updated.

How much bandwidth does each call need?

A common planning figure is roughly 85 to 100 kbps per concurrent call including overhead with the widely used G.711 codec, and substantially less with compressed codecs such as G.729 at some cost to audio quality. The more important constraint is usually upstream capacity and consistent latency rather than raw bandwidth, which is why prioritisation matters more than headline speed.

Can we keep our existing phone numbers?

In most cases yes, through number porting coordinated with the operators involved. Timelines depend on the operators and the service type, so porting is planned as a scheduled step with the cutover arranged around it. We sequence this so there is no window where inbound calls are unreachable.

Cloud PBX or on-premise?

Cloud reduces upfront cost and hardware maintenance and suits distributed or multi-site teams. On-premise gives more direct control, can be preferable where internet reliability is a concern, and sometimes works out cheaper at higher extension counts over a multi-year horizon. Site count, extension count and connectivity quality generally decide it.

Do we need to replace our handsets?

Not always. SIP-compatible handsets frequently carry over to a new platform, subject to firmware support and the vendor still issuing updates. Handsets past end-of-support are worth replacing since they cannot be patched. We audit the existing estate and identify what is reusable before quoting replacements.
